Creating course folders on Toons

These instructions are written from the perspective of a CS 140 students, but are easily modified for students in any course.

• Logon. Your username will be the first six letters of your last name, followed by the first letter of your first name. If you are a new user, your password will be blank, and you should change it as soon as possible.
• At the root level create a folder called CS140 with a subfolder called  Lab1 as follows
  • Activate the Windows NT Explorer
  • Make sure that you are at the top level in your directory structure. Do this by clicking on the H: drive.
  • Select menu option File/New/Folder. A new folder will be created. Change the name of the folder to CS140.
  • Select the new folder and in it create a subfolder called Lab1.
