Authentication when using cable modems

The following instruction apply only when your ISP sets your connection to use a proxy-server. Most dial-up ISPs do not provide/require proxy servers. When you ISP provides/requires a proxy server, this interferes with NT validation for FrontPage server extensions until you disable the proxy in InterDev. To disable the proxy proceed as follows:

• Select menu Tools-> Options -> Projects -> Web Proxy Settings. 
• Then UNCHECK "Use system settings". 
• Enter "morgana.toons.cs.wwu.edu:80" in the List of hosts... field.

At the initial prompt when the computer first boots, enter your COMPSCI username and password.
